Current issues in the development of the mining and metallurgical complex were discussed at a meeting chaired by the Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Alihan Smailov.
In particular, plans for the introduction of international standards in geological exploration were considered, as well as measures to increase the efficiency of deposit development and attract investments into the industry.
During the discussion, the Prime Minister emphasized the need to balance the interests of the state and business when implementing new initiatives and projects in the mining and metallurgical industry.
Following the meeting, relevant assignments were given to authorized government bodies.
