Kazzinc, a Kazakhstanbased company, is planning to install automatic emission monitoring stations at seven industrial sources in UstKamenogorsk this year. This will be done in accordance with the Environmental Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan, which requires the installation of such monitoring stations at every industrial source.

Kaztai Bayazievich, the companys chief ecologist, said that the installation will take place in the third quarter of 2023. The data from the sensors will be publicly available for viewing online so that citizens and regulatory authorities can monitor emissions from each source.
