The event featured three plenary sessions, including a session moderated by Ascar Sydykov, head of the International Business Council, on the theme “Unlocking mineral potential: the leading role of mining industry leaders and international investors.” The session was attended by top executives from leading mining companies, including Almazbek Baryktabasov, president of Kumtor Gold Company, Ilyas Tulekeev, general director of KAZ Minerals Bozymchak, and others.

The second day of the forum included four plenary sessions, with representatives from foreign companies from Sweden, England, and Kazakhstan participating. The participants noted similarities between the mining industries of Sweden and Kyrgyzstan. The session with British companies focused on geological exploration, with some projects taking up to 12-16 years to study.

The forum also included closed meetings between companies and investors. A total of 57 presentations were delivered, and eight plenary sessions were held, with eight cooperation agreements signed.

During the forum, the Prime Minister of Kyrgyzstan, Akylbek Japarov, met with representatives of several international companies, including Darren Hughes, representative of British company Concrete Canvas Ltd, to discuss investment in a joint cement plant in Kyrgyzstan.
