Chief geophysist
Aerogeophysica
Pavel Babayants graduated with honors from the Geophysical Faculty of the Moscow Geological Prospecting Institute in 1980. After graduating from the institute, he worked at the Department of Electrical and Geophysical Methods in the positions of junior and then senior researcher, senior lecturer, and associate professor. In 1995, he moved from the position of deputy dean of the geophysical faculty of MGRPI to the position of chief geophysicist at the Aerogeofiziсa and since 2004, he has been the chief geophysicist of the enterprise. He is the author and co-author of over 100 printed works. His scientific interests lie in the processing and interpretation of potential fields, as well as the comprehensive interpretation of geological and geophysical data.
Integration is the key to solving problems in exploration geology
An effective means of increasing the reliability and validity of geological interpretation of geophysical data is the combination of geophysical methods. Modern aerogeophysical technologies are preferable for complex study of the territory, allowing to perform measurements of the whole range of parameters from a single overflight of the territory.
