"Eti Bakir Tereksai" Limited liability company was registered with the authorities of the Ministry of Justice of the Kyrgyz Republic on October 15th, 2015.
The main activity of the Company is mining and concertation of minerals of precious metal.
This is a joint enterprise, in which 25% belongs to Kyrgyzaltyn Open Joint Stock Company and 75% belongs to the Turkish company Eti Bakir Limited liability company.
Eti Bakir Tereksai Limited liability company is located in the village of Terek-Sai in the Chatkal district of Jalalabad region, and the company is one of the largest industries in the region and provides jobs for hundreds of local residents.
The company is developing the Terekkan, Perevalnyi and Terek gold and antimony deposits in the Jalal-Abad region, which are together constitute the Tereksai group of deposits.
Investments in the implementation of projects for the development of the Terekkan, Perevalnyi and Terek fields, as well as in the construction of a Gold mining factory with a tailings storage facility and infrastructure facilities were carried out by the Turkish Eti Bakir A.S., which is part of the well-known conglomerate Cengiz Holding.
The latter is a concern – a financial and industrial group of companies engaged in the fields of energy, mining, construction, tourism and many others.
At the earliest possible date, the old processing factory was modernized and a new gold extracting factory with a developed modern infrastructure was built.
Since the beginning of its activity, the Company has annually transferred 15 million soms (KGS) to the local budget for social needs. After the commissioning of the Gold mining factory industrial facilities, since February 2022, deductions to the social package have increased to 20 million soms (KGS) per year.
In addition, the Eti Bakir Tereksai actively provides sponsorship in the region and allocates 2% for the maintenance and development of local infrastructure.
