Mr. Azamat Ibraimov currently serving as an Associate Director, Senior Banker, joined EBRD in 2011. He has over than 20 years of extensive experience in the banking and financial sector. Mr. Ibraimov previously spearheaded the Agribusiness team in Tashkent, successfully leading and participating in 9 deals worth approximately USD 13.5 million. Before this role, Mr. Ibraimov held pivotal positions at EBRD, including Principal Banker in Bishkek, where he executed 18 deals totaling USD 70 million, and Associate Banker in London, managing deals across Bulgaria, Mongolia, Georgia, and Uzbekistan with values ranging from EUR 2 to 70 million. Prior to joining EBRD Mr. Ibraimov held roles such as head of Risk Managament at Demir Kyrgyz International Bank and Project Finance Specialist at the Development Fund of the Kyrgyz Republic. Mr. Ibraimov has and Economics degree from the American University in Central Asia.
