The 10th Mining and Exploration Forum “MINEX Central Asia” was held in Bishkek, bringing together companies from 25 countries to discuss the future and scenarios for sustainable development of the mining industry in Central Asia. The forum, organized under the theme “Future and Scenarios for Sustainable Development of the Mining Industry in Central Asia”, was attended by representatives from Sweden, England, and Kazakhstan, among others.

The second day of the forum featured four plenary sessions, where participants discussed the similarities between the mining industries of Sweden and Kyrgyzstan, as well as the geological exploration works of companies from England. It was noted that studying the potential of a single object can take up to 12-16 years.

The technical session showcased modern equipment in the geological industry, including the presentation of an aeromagnetic meter, a device that measures the geomagnetic field of an airplane.

In addition, four brief meetings were held with the Geological Service of the Ministry of Natural Resources, Ecology and Technical Supervision of the Kyrgyz Republic. More than 10 meetings were also held between companies and investors in a closed circle.

During the two-day event, 57 reports were delivered, eight plenary sessions were held, and eight cooperation agreements were signed.

The forum concluded with a presentation of investment projects, where mining companies from 25 countries opened up opportunities for mutual cooperation, joint projects, and future collaboration.
