The government convened a meeting to discuss various issues concerning the development of the mining and metallurgical complex. Chaired by Prime Minister Alikhan Smailov, the meeting covered topics such as launching new investment projects, developing promising fields, and improving railway infrastructure for the transportation of raw materials and fuel. Other issues included tariff formation for railway transportation, increasing product exports, and ensuring gas supply for industrial facilities. The meeting was attended by top officials from national companies such as Kazakhstan Temir Zholy and QazaqGaz, as well as representatives from central state bodies. The Prime Minister directed the relevant departments to expedite the development of measures to address issues raised by business representatives and present specific proposals at the next meeting.
