Ministry of Natural Resources, Ecology and Technical Supervision of the Kyrgyz Republic

The Ministry of Natural Resources, Ecology and Technical Supervision of the Kyrgyz Republic (hereinafter referred to as the Ministry) is an authorized state executive body responsible for the development and implementation of state policy and coordination in the areas of environmental protection, ecology and climate, geology and subsoil use, use and protection of natural resources, including biological resources, subsoil and water resources, with the exception of irrigation and reclamation infrastructure, exercising state control and supervision over compliance with environmental (including chemical, biological, radiation and nuclear) requirements, industrial safety, mining safety, subsoil protection, coal quality and fuel.
