The Chairman of the Committee of Geology, Yerlan Akbarov, met with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the USA to the Republic of Kazakhstan, Daniel Rosenblum, during the visit of US Secretary of State, Anthony Blinken. The two sides discussed issues related to long-term cooperation in the field of geological study and signed a memorandum to cement their commitment.

The objective of the meeting was to discuss the prospects of longterm cooperation in the field of geological research. As a result, the sides signed a memorandum of understanding. The memorandum outlines the areas of cooperation between the two countries, such as exchanging experience, developing competencies in geological research, utilizing modern geophysical research technologies, and conducting joint research seminars, round tables and workshops. At the end of the meeting, both parties expressed their appreciation towards the current business relationship and stressed the importance of further collaboration.
The cooperation between the Republic of Kazakhstan and the USA has been of great benefit to both countries, providing an opportunity to explore new research innovations and develop their respective economies. The signed memorandum will further strengthen the bond between the two countries, enabling them to work together and collaborate on various projects. This is an important step forward in the development of both countries and will continue to bring great results in the future.
