Dr. Schofield is the Science Director for National & International Geoscience at the British Geological Survey. He is a principal survey geologist with 24 years’ experience contributing to, and managing survey programs and developing research in diverse geological settings, both in the UK and overseas. Dr. Schofield has also contributed to institutional reinforcement programs in developing countries, largely funded by foreign governments and international development banks, and has over 10 years experience of developing survey and exploration programs in Africa and the Middle East.
