Yerlan Ramazanov joined the EBRD in 2011 as a Principal Banker in the Bank’s Natural Resources team with the objective to develop the EBRD’s portfolio in the Mining and Oil&Gas industries in the country. Prior joining the Bank Yerlan was the Head of Investment Department with National Mining Company “Tau-Ken Samruk”. Previously Yerlan worked as a manager of Valuation and Business Modelling department with “Ernst & Young” in Moscow where he managed valuation projects of the largest Russian Oil & Gas, Mining and Utility companies.
Currently he covers energy sector portfolio in Russia, Caucasus and Central Asia and leads the team of sectoral bankers in respective region.
Yerlan holds MA degree from the New Economic School (Moscow, Russia) and BA from al-Farabi Kazak National University.
Yerlan fluently speaks Kazakh, Russian and English.
